Zane Landers
Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist — Tucson, Arizona
I’m a digital marketing and communications specialist with an M.S. in Marketing from the University of Arizona. I build content and campaigns for technical industries: I’ve driven 300%+ organic traffic growth through SEO, generated 1,000+ event registrations through automated email and ad campaigns, and created marketing content for aerospace (Universal Avionics), federal science research (NSF NOIRLab), conferences (EUEC), and e-commerce brands. My specialty is taking complex technical subjects and turning them into content that ranks, converts, and builds trust.
I’m currently open to full-time marketing and communications roles. View my resume → · Contact me →
The Astronomy Side
Writing is where my career started: since 2018 I’ve been a lead writer and editor for TelescopicWatch (1.75M monthly impressions), and I now also review astronomy gear for Live Science. That work has roots in a lifelong hands-on obsession — my telescope-making has been featured in TIME, National Geographic, and The Guardian, and I serve on the board of DarkSky Southern Arizona.
It’s also a service: I host private star parties across Tucson and Southern Arizona for birthdays, corporate events, and gatherings, plus public stargazing evenings at the Mount Lemmon Lodge. Book a star party →
